Multiple video card w/Photon1.14

Anyone care to share their good (or bad) experience trying to set up two
video cards with Photon 1.14?
I’m in the middle of this right now and would appreciate
some tips (I’m using the bok:

Well, my experience are that, if you use Hydra stuff it is very slow. If the
speed doesn’t matter
it worked fine. But sometimes there exist a configuration problem, which we
did not solved.
We used excatly the same VGA Cards but we run in trouble somewhere.

If I can help, just email me direct.

I recently set up a system with dual ATI Radeon 7000 PCI cards using the flatdc driver this worked ok, but I get garbage
if I try to exit back to text mode and have to reboot. So this is avoided.

Tried several other cards, new TNT2 and ATI Rage XL and some older ones, all of which work fine with the flat driver
singly, but would not work in pairs.

Anyone else have working combinations of cards which are currently available?

PS. The CTL-ALT-Shift-Backspace chord exits photon, any way to disable this? Basically I would like to totally disable
exiting to text mode… or fix the hanging problem
