Does anyone have any experience with Dynapro Near-Field Imaging (NFI)
touchscreens with Photon under QNX 4.2x? In particular, does Photon have a
driver for this device? I have looked all over the Dynapro website, and
nowhere can I find a mention of the protocol that it uses. I’m hoping it is
supported by Input. Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin

I got a response from Dynapro; they say that this touchscreen uses the SC4
protocol. They also mention that they thought that QNX was working on a
driver for this protocol, but they didn’t know if it had been finished. Is
this protocol available for Photon under QNX 4.25? If not, could I write my
own driver for SC4 to be integrated into Photon?
Thanks,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Unfortunately, SC3 only… Our Input developer has no docs on the SC4.
