Does a PDF viewer for Photon running on QNX 4.25 exist? I downloaded
the ppdf.tgz file from the QUICS ftp site, but this seems to be a
non-functional application.

Hello Lance
The file that you downloaded included the source and other files. The executable is
in the pdf10/PpdfBack/src/default directory and the executable is called Ppdf.
Thanks

Yes, I am aware of what I downloaded. My point was that this executable doesn’t work.
In fact, there is a readme file that comes in the archive that states, “THIS WILL NOT
OPEN A PDF FILE!”, among other things. My question is, is there an alternative out
there for Photon 1.13 or 1.14?

Hello Lance
Sorry, I meant no offense. Sometimes people don’t understand what they get. I was
not aware of the fact that it was a non-functioning piece of software. I will change
that knowledge base entry.
You can download ghostscript from the contributed software site.
If you do a search on pdf it should give you a link to download it. You
can get to the contrinuted software site by going to http://support.qnx.com
Thanks

No offense taken. The all-caps with the exclamation point was a direct quote from the
readme and in no way represented my state of mind during the post.
I’ll give GhostScript a shot.
