G450 -> G400

Hi Joe and Erick,

Thanks for your input. I could get the G450 card started by commenting
out the matbios.trap line, but because the resolution is very low, I
downgraded to a Matrox G400. This card should work as I have a second
machine that works at 600x800 with the Pg.matroxdc driver. However for
some reason that I do not understand I still get the freeze when probing
for video modes or when doing a

crttrap trap

Since the machine that works is quite similar in configuration, I
thought that this might have something to do with BIOS settings, but
they seem very similar in both cases, at least as far as I can tell.
Would you have any suggestions? I include the hardware config of the
machine that works (node1) and the one that does not work (node4) as
well as the output of show_pci for both machines. Photon is 1.14 and QNX
4.25, May 2001 release.Thanks in advance, Fabrizio.

Hi Fabrizio,

Can you run the grafxscript found at www.geocities.com/erickemuis/files/hardware_scripts/

Oops…that is the RTP graphics script
www.geocities.com/erickemuis/files/photon is the correct URL for QNX4.

Note: Ensure to make the file executable before running the script.
