Hi all,
There seems to be a problem with the ptermcs utility which comes with
Photon 1.14. It crashes with a SIGSEGV almost whenever you try to save
a charset file. After a year it started to hurt…
Simple test: I selected ‘default’ for ANSI charset, ‘866’ for internal
charset and ‘KOI8’ for font charset, then tried to File/Save it -
bang. Memory fault.
I’ve uploaded a gzipped postmortem dump to our home dir (/u/s/swdstp),
could you QSSL people have a look please? It’s an important issue for
us due to local demand of QRTP Cyrillic support options.
Thank you.
Regards,
Hello Nikolai
Yes this was a bug. It has been fixed and it is going through QA right now.
Thanks
Rodney
