Dell Inspiron 8100 & GeForce2 Go chipset.

Hello.

I just got my new laptop and installed QNX4, photon, etc to it from the June 2000 cd. (Sorry, haven’t
upgraded just yet…). The best photon resolution I can get with the installed default is 12x10 flat.
I downloaded the “graphics_1.14C” dated March 30, 2001. It detected the GeForce and let me have
some Pg.tnt entries in my /etc/config/trap/crt.2 file. However, none of them work ( I do get a kinda
cool effect on the screen, though, before it goes blank and photon will not return to cmd line mode ).

Is there an updated driver for this particular chipset? I could not find one in the “Alpha” or “Beta”
sections on quics.

Thanks

I read somewhere Geforce2 Go chipset are different then Geforce2.
Apparently Nvidia has
made those “differences” available to QNX.

Should read “hasn’t made”

Hi,

We do not currently support flat panels with nVidia chipsets because
we do not have the required the required information.

Regards,

Joe
