Hi everone (anyone),
Does anyone have any experience with using Zip drives with QNX2? I have
managed to get the Parallel Port version to work OK but now wish to try the
internal (ATAPI) drive. Can anyone assist before I start burying myself in
this…??
Thanks in advance,
Russ Bilbey.

I’d bet against success. But you might be lucky. Do you have disk.ata?
It might have a hope – if not, I’d download it from:
ftp.qnx.com:/usr/free2/disk/drivers/disk.ata

Good try David, but there’s no chance. The
Zip drive is an ATAPI drive. A completely
different interface than EIDE hard drives,
more like SCSI on top of EIDE. The disk.ata
driver has no ATAPI support.
