Video Blanking in Photon when booted without a keyboard...

I am experiencing a problem when I boot my QNX box without a keyboard.
The system is set to boot into Photon on power up. I am using a touch
screen monitor for my applications I/O and don’t (and can’t) have a
keyboard attached to the system. When the keyboard is removed the
system will boot normally (ie the standard text messages associated with
bringing the system up), but when it gets to the point of launching
Photon the screen blanks out. As far as I can tell, the system hasn’t
crashed, but no viedo is displayed. Has anyone experienced this
difficulty? If so, what did they do about it?

Thanks

Hm… did this machine used to boot with a keyboard there? Is it
on a network? If so, can you do a “sin -n node” to find out what
is running.

It might be that Input is trying to talk to the keyboard, that its
trap list tells it should be there, and not getting a response, and
everyone else is waiting for Input.

Try removing your /etc/config/trap/input.node file. (ie. if this is
node 1, it would be /etc/config/trap/input.1 )

Make sure you don’t try to start Input with keyboard enabled.
