Is anyone familiar with any “wireless network communication” products
that are compatible with the QNX operating system. Any information is
greatly appreciated.
Thank You.

My first preference is TCP/IP over radio ethernet.

We have tested 802.11b with Lucent Orinoco cards with some success. Driver
support for 802.11b seems limited. One company, advertized on QNX.com
actually tried to charge for their driver for QNX RTP! We are using QNX
4.25, and fortunately there is a freeware driver for this, though its
circulation seems to be limited.
The driver we have only works with an access point and does no yet support
peer-to-peer mode.

Hi,
I recently joined the newsgroup. I have been trying for a driver for the
802.11b cards(Orinoco) for either QNX 4.25 or QNX 6.0. Could you tell me
from where could I download the freeware driver you mentioned
Any help in Setting upa 802.11b card would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Srikanth
QNX 6.1 supports Orinoco.
