java vm's and QNX 6.3

i was wonder what the best java vm is for qnx? i want to run phex or limewire and dont know what the best one for that would be. does qnx come with one? the one that seems to be the best fit would be JamaicaVM, anyone have any experience with it?

As far as I know, there is no JVM on QNX which is capable of running LimeWire.

JVM’s for QNX are IBM’s J9, AONIX PERC and Jamaica. You should turn to the respective distributors to evaluate it. J9 is distributed by QNX and comes with SP1, while SP2 replaces it with PERC.

I’m pretty sure I have 6.3 running with SP2. Can anyone tell me how I should be able to run the Java VM? I’ve tried, “java”, “j9”, and “perc” to no avail.

It’s /usr/qnx630/host/qnx6/x86/usr/qde/eclipse/jre/bin/pvm, but I’ve no idea of how to run it…

Bear in mind that the no vm comes with Standard Edition (anymore). Also, you need a license to ship j9 or PERC on a runtime system. I’m not familiar with JamaicaVM, but I would guess they require a license as well.
