hi,
does anyone manage to get a Davicom DM9102AF chip running ?
It’s said to be compatible to DEC 21142/3 - but it isn’t recognized by
devn-tulip.so at all.
I have some lines of source - for linux actually … but if there is some
iterest in it i’d like to try to port it to qnxrtp.
- except there is a driver available, already …
ie
I’ve heard it is not quite compatible, but close enough to tulip. Some
poor clone, like LiteOn chips. I have one built-in in a motherboard …

ok, as I learned from the ng, I think the most easy way to get the network
running would be buying some 3com-cards.
But since I actiually want to use realtek NE2000, that dont work up to now,
too (and it would be really nice having my Davicom’s as well), I think I’ll
take a close look at qnxrtp-networking-ddk - maybe I get the stuff running.
Knowing, how to make things work is better than buying things that work …

Has anyone made more progress toward getting the Davicom chip to work? or
more anti-progress in determining it won’t?
