It’s my first submission to this newsgroup so I don’t know if this subject
has been already covered.
I just install QNX RTP 6.1.0 everything works fine including vga, Ethernet,
cdrom etc. But there is a problem with the modem I have a Diamond Supra
Express 56 external. I create a new connection I insert the number to be
dialled etc. and when I press connect it opens port and I hear the dial tone
instead of dialling it stops and hangs up. When I click the terminal screen
I get No Dial tone how what can I set my modem so it doesn’t have to wait
for dial tone.

That setting should be documented in your manual for you modem (look for AT
Commands). You can then set that AT command in the intialization line for
the dialer.
