I have made a boot image boot.ifs ,it can boot from floppy .but i copy it to
the harddisk like this: cp boot.ifs /hdc/.boot(/hdc is the bootable partition of harddisk ),during booting after some …,it displays ‘S’,what’s wrong ?
the floppy bootable image can’t be used to harddisk? Should the partition be type 79 (not the type 77)?I use VMWARE to run above

No a floppy image cannot be use on a harddisk.
