fsys application a virus???

When my computer boots up, there is a program that runs called UPDATE. It
shows up on my task bar at the bottom but when I maximize it, I can’t tell
anything about it. When I did a F1, it tried to find help and that is what
pointed me in the direction of the fsys directory.

At the same time, in Task Manager, I can see the QNX environment running.

This looks like a virus to me but my Norton AntiVirus, new and up to date,
isn’t complaining. Searching the Norton site for fsys also doesn’t turn up
anything.

I would just delete the fsys folder under WINNT/SYSTEM32 but I don’t want to
delete something that might be needed.

Any ideas what this is?

Umm, just out of curiosity, what operating system are you actually
running? Windows 2000 I presume?
