This almost certainly indicates some kind of installation problem. You may
be able to bring your system into a state which at least allows it to
function better for the purposes of finding out more about what’s wrong by
doing this:
cd /pkgs/base
.diskroot
and then rebooting. (The second command is not a typo; it’s sort of
equivalent to “touch”, but doesn’t assume you have a working touch command
available.)
Note well, however, that even if both of those steps work, there may still
be other problems. Have you tried a fresh re-install?

Yeah I have done a fresh install a few times now (I hadnt done anything
amazing yet so eh). At first I thought it might be because it is on the
secondary HD, but after changing it to the primary there was no change. The
strange thing is that 6.1.0 worked fine. It has only been since 6.2.0 that i
have been having trouble.

Too many people come here without trying things suggested in the
release notes.
QSSL: I guess swapping qnxbasedma.ifs in the install floppy/image
wasn’t a Good Thing after all; people gets stumped when it installs
but won’t boot from HD.kabe
