Address operator in Gas?

Hi All,

I’m currently using Gas (as 2.10.1) with the .intel_syntax noprefix mode.
The follow code assembles just fine under Linux:

mov dword ptr [ebx], offset someLabel

Under QNX, however, I get an error to the effect that there are too
many memory operands (i.e., I’d guess it’s not recognizing the “offset”
operator to mean “the address of”). “$” doesn’t work either.
Any suggestions? AT&T syntax is not an option here.
