Glad to know that QNX 6.3 will get us the native 3D graphics.
But there is no news about support of VCD, DVD in QNX . I was expecting
these things to be supported as of now. But to my surprise it is not. I
guess it will not be supported in QNX 6.3 either. Why is it like this.
Why is that QSSl is not supporting VCD & DVD, because as now 3D is
supported, if these things are supported then i am sure no body can beat
QNX. With the beayutiful GUI & other Multimedia technology it will
definetly get good markets not only in Auotmotive segment but also in
Infotainment segments.
Even simple VCD can’t be played in QNX.

Apparently, that’s limited to some very specific hardware and is not for
mainstream gfx card.

The main problem for me is that if put VCD in the Cdrom of the QNX 6.2.1
m/c i can’t read it at all. If i put it on Windows m/c & share that CD
Rom , i can play the files on this VCD. Why is it that i am not able to
