CompactFlash Type II Socket on Motherboard

This motherboard has a compact flash type II socket on it.

Is it possible to use a compact flash card? Could I set it up to boot off
it, so no other drives need be present in the system?

Thanks
Nick

One would assume the BIOS can boot a CF on that mobo and CF cards act
like ATA hard drives so, yes, it should be a piece of cake.

You will likely need to specify the ioport and irq to use when starting
devb-eide. These are listed by pin.

The mfg. indicates it is seen as a drive in CMOS setup. I will post when we
get it and try it.
