Error Invalid arguement setting working dir /tmp/

I also just started using Momentics and have the same problem but on a
different target.

I have compiled a simple hello world program for this test. I’m
developing on a WinXP machine. My target is an x86 running QNX6 built
from the same QNX momentics disk.

I installed 6.2.1A, then installed the 6.2.1B patch on both machines.

I’m connecting via ethernet and the files seem to upload correctly into
the /tmp directory, but I get:

Exception occured while launching configuration. See log for more
information
Reason:
Can’t launch file for jporthouse-qnx6: Target launcher@localhost:8000:
Error Invalid arguement setting working dir /tmp/

Any ideas??? Could the different versions of qconn be on these disks (ie.
windows/qnx version difference)?

Hi Joe,

Check the versions, also ensure that /tmp is not linked to /dev/shmem,
as “/dev/shmem is not a real filesystem”

Hi Joe,

It sounds like there could be a Momentics and qconn version mismatch. Can
you make sure that the target has the Patch B qconn installed on it.
