File permissions

The documentation for chmod in the Utilities Reference describes the
permissions.

In general, if you have version 6.3.0, you might want to look at the
Neutrino User’s Guide. It should help you get going with Neutrino and
(I hope) answer a lot of your questions. It has a chapter on working with
files, the command line, and more.

(I hope this doesn’t sound like RTFM – I really do think you’ll find
this book useful.)
