Two Network ports not working in QNX 6.3

Hello,

I am having a board which is having 2 Realtek Ethernet ports.
When QNX 6.3 is booted up only one interface is recognised & am able to
configure only one…

If i slay io-net & restart from command line…

io-net -drtl -ptcpip

& if i do ifconifg -a

ifconfig -a

i will get both interfaces listed…

But if i try to ping to other m/c s in the network, it is not pinging…

Why what might be the reason ?

Also when i tried to boot with verbose ( by pressing Space bar & F6) & i
got following messages…

devn-rtl:unable to create instance did 0x8139 vid 0x10ec

netmanager error: could not set interface en1 state : no such device or
address.


Please also find pci -v of my board.

Can anybody help me to sort the problem of configuring & using both ports.

“Running multiple instances of the TCP/IP stack”

I tried following…

ifconfig en0 192.168.0.19

SOCK=/sock1 ifconfig en0 192.168.0.91

ping 192.168.0.6 (works fine)

but

#SOCK=/sock1 ping 192.168.0.6 (does not work)

What might be the reason.Am i doing anything wrong.

Also i could assign differnt IP address to both interfaces…

But if i try to ping to other m/c s in the network, it is not pinging…

Why what might be the reason ?

This does not seem to me to be a case where multiple instances of the
stack are required. I had the same issue with Realtek ports, and it seems
to me that the Enumeration is broken for this chipset - it will only ever
find one port at boot time. Slaying the network and restarting it in
rc.local with just the -d rtl -p tcpip paramaters will find all ports (I
have three). I think the OPs problem is that he’s not supplying a host
name or IP address in the ifconfig, so the interfaces have no address.
