Problem with USB driver devu-ohci

I am using QNX Version 6.3. Following the execution of the command
“devu-ohci” in a terminal window, my system completely hangs. I am forced
to reboot the system. The usb port is an integrated USB 2.0 port.

Hi David.

Can you please try running “io-usb -d ehci -d ohci” instead and see if
that works any better for you?

io-usb is the new (introduced in 6.3) method of working with USB.
USB2.0 (ehci) is supported through this service.

Thanks,
-Jay.

Hi Jay

Thanks for your response, I finally traced the problem to shared IRQs, it
seems that QNX does not like it. The IRQ was shared with the network
controller

Hi David.

We normally do work with shared interrupts (PCI, I’m assuming), but
we’ve seen problems in the past (and have fixed them). Which network
controller was it? Can you post a ‘pci -v’? I will try to reproduce
the problem here.

Thanks,
-Jay.
