Compile or get ntpdate for qnx4 for board Lite5200

Hi,

i need to sync the time at startup on my Lite5200 ppcbe Board.
I want to use ntpdate but i have now glue how to compile it for qnx.
I have the IDE for QNX 6.2.1B.

Maybe anyone here can help me how to compile xntp-project or can give my
some hints which docu i should read.

The first steps a really hard.

Thx
Matthias

this would be really great!
My targetsystem is a Motorola MPC5200Lite Evaluation Board Lite5200 (its
a ppcbe system).
A uname -a give me:
QNX localhost 6.2.1 2003/05/17-11:09:06edt MGT5200 ppcbe

But if someone can explain my, how to compile such a project with the
QNX Memontics IDE under Windows it will be really fantastic (so i can
compile much binaries by myself).

Thx
Matthias

Sorry, I have QNX v4.25, not the QNX6 as you do…

My binaries will not fit. :frowning:

maybe you can give my a short instruction who to compile xntp3-5f.tgz, i
have donwloaded it from the qnx ftp-server.

Or if anyone here is fimilar howto compile xntp3-5f.tgz with the
Memontics IDE under windows (or any other external project), i would
really appreciate it, if i get a short explanation who to do it, or
maybe a link to a document will help too.

Thx a lot

Sorry, I’ve never ever seen QNX6 and it’s IDE…

I replyed because you’ve put QNX4 in the header of the very first posting.
Actually, you should take the current NTP v4.2.0 from www.ntp.org, not the outdated port of v3.5
