Where is installer in 6.3 ?

Hi

I upgraded to QNX Momentics 6.3 IDE on my XP machine and I cannot find the
‘Installer’. The ‘Installer’ was part of my 6.1 installation. I need it to
install a 3rd party package (Emanate-lite). Did I miss something during my
6.3 installation ?

AFAIK … you can use the qnxinstaller for installing qpr based archives.

I scanned my 6.3 installtion for ‘qnxinstaller’ and could not find any file
with that name. (Nor ‘qnxinstaller.exe’). Is this a separate distribution ?

As you know(?) … QNX executables don’t have the suffix .exe.

qnxinstall is located at /usr/photon/bin

I need to clarify that I am using the Windows Host QNX Momentics 6.3.
Neither a Windows nor a QNX executable named ‘qnxinstaller’ is in the
distribution. I would need the Windows executable in any case.

The name is ‘qnxinstall’ and works under QNX6.3. Upload the qpr archive
to the QNX target and do the installation with ‘qnxinstall’.

If you don’t have Photon running on your target … use ‘cl-installer’.

I believe that’s doable. Isn’t it ?
