Hi NG,
I’m actually playing around with a DVD-RAM device and I wonder, how I
could initialize and mount a fresh DVD-RAM, without rebooting or
restarting devb-eide.
What I want to do is:
-
Insert a fresh DVD-RAM
-
‘fdisk add -t79 -p100 /dev/cd1’
-
Under QNX4 I’d issue ‘mount -p /dev/cd1’ here
-
‘dinit /dev/cd1t79’
-
mount -t qnx /dev/cd1t79 /fs/dvdram
Is there anything I could do, to make new partitions visible (step 3)?
Mit freundlichen Grüßen aus Krefeld,
With best regards from Krefeld,
