I am using QNX 6.2.1 on a Biscayne box. My sound devices are (/dev/snd)
controlC0 pcmC0D0c pcmC0D1p
mixerC0D0 pcmC0D0p
Eventually I need to give input to my mic and to my line in and would like
to mix the left channel of Line-in with the mic and have them come out from
line-out. The right of line out should be the mic and left channel of line
out should be left channel of line in.
I am reading the documentation but there are a few things that are not clear
to me.
When I open one pcm as capture and one pcm as playback, will the capture
have both inputs, the line in as well as mic?
How do I know which mixer group controls line in and which one controls
mic?
I guess these are the two fundamental questions that I am trying to resolve,
things should be clearer once I know more about this.
thanks for your time. If this is not a suitable ng, please let me know which
should be a suitable ng for this. Any pointers to practicle code snippets or
any other information will also be greatly appreciated ( I have already been
through the audio developers guide at qnx.com)
I’m looking for a USB to Ethernet adapter. I have checked supported
hardware for QNX 6.2.1, but I can’t buy any of them. Let me explain:
-“3com 3C460” is unknown for shops in Spain. Maybe I could buy it in
the USA by Internet.
-Kawasaki: is a chip.
-“Netgear EA101”: in Netgear’s web they don’t have that product.
I suppose that is too old, to buy it now.
SMC EZ Ethernet Adapter: in SMC’s web they don’t have that product.
I have another problem. I have to work in QNX 6.1.
-Anyone has used an USB to Ethernet adapter for QNX 6.1? How did you buy it?
-How can I know if a product has the supported Kawasaki chip?

50 points off from Hufflepuff (be thankful I did not put you in Slytherin)
for replying to my post and giving me a false hope that someone knew how to
capture mic and line-in simultaneouly and output mic from the right line-out
and left line-in from the left line-out in QSA.
