QNET reliability

Hi,
We encounter lots of problems on 6.2.1b when we use applications running
on files through symbolic links even if files access are done at low
rates.
We loose access to other nodes but we can also loose tcpip services such
as telnet, ftp, or phindows access.
Today I’ve no real confidence in QNET unless the problem comes from the ip
stack…

Alain.

If both QNET and TCP stuff is croaking on you, there may be a problem with
the NIC or NIC driver. Once we got our NIC sorted out, all was and has been
fine for us since.
