Our system has to be cold-started in an environment where there is no
Internet connection. How can I install software that is normally found via
the QNX installer on the QNX site on the Internet? Can I download all that
to a repository on a CD? If there are docs I would appreciate a pointer.
Thanks
Nick

Yes, you should be able to download the packages and burn them to a CD
repository, and work from that.

Are packages still in vogue? I read somewhere that they are not going to be
used anymore because the package file system is not supported on non X86
hosts or targets?

Hi David, I got the same interest in downloading the repositories and
making them available offline. It’s nice to know that it is acutally
possible but HOW?
Thanks,
Dietmar.
