LCD/Limited Colors/PHaB

I’m using a small monochrome LCD, with a small number of
colors. It’s capable of 16 colors, but some of the colors you
can hardly tell apart. We’ve promised our customer 4 colors.

I’ve changed my driver to output only 4 colors.

My problem is how do I get Photon Application builder to
limit itself to 4 colors. It seems to try to make a general
purpose application, capable of using millions of colors.
I want to limit it to a small group of colors.

Is there a way to cripple the application builder and limit
the color selection in such a way that it will be easy for my
end customer? If I could deliver them a set of files for the
application builder that limits them without my having to go
into explanations, that would be great.

Isn’t that what palette are for?
