spooler on 2 printers

I have multiple printers available to me. I am currently able to access
them with multiple instances of spooler. Isn’t there a way to access
multiple printers with just one spooler?

I have tried putting two ‘-c config_file.cfg’ arguments on the spooler
command line but it only sees the last one.

Can this be done?

If so, how?

If not, the docs should say to just load two copied of spooler.

The 6.3 docs do say so. This is from the entry for spooler in the Utilities
Reference:

The spooler allows multiple users to share the resources of a single
printer. If you have more than one printer, you can start an instance of
spooler for each one.

The Printing chapter of the Neutrino User’s Guide says this:

The spooler utility is usually started by an enumerator when you start
Neutrino (see Controlling How Neutrino Starts). The utility manages one
printer, but you can run more than one instance of spooler.

Is there somewhere else that we should mention this?
