Having a Problem Starting from Hard Drive

I’ve recently run into a problem with a machine that I’ve not been able to figure out. The machine is running QNX 2. I can boot the machine off of my QNX install floppy and mount the hard drive. If I do an ls of the root directory or any of the other directories on the drive, I’m able to see files and directories. However, if I attempt to boot off of that hard drive, the qnx loader starts momentarily and then I wind up with a stack dump in red characters. Sometimes I get an error that says 0207-Terminated at 0080:034b Memory exception 0500. Can anyone shed any light on this problem? I’ve issued the boot command on the hard drive to try to fix the problem but to no avail. Thanks for the help.

It’s been a long time, but when we’ve seen this problem it was hardware, maybe a memory problem. We would first reseat the SIMMS and also the cpu board if applicable. If still a problem try replacing the cpu board if possible.
