question about two netcard

hello all:
I miss a question that i prepare to install more than one network card .My system have two network card and a dummy network card that base Net.fd Utility , i want to startup the network cards and using difference IP-CONFIG , At first i startup netcard dirver(i use command:
Net.ether82557 -I0 -l1 & , Net.ether82557 -I1 -l2 &) , i find that netmap display as follows:

Logical Lan Physical TX Count Last TX Fail Time
1 1 00D0C9 372046 ; 0
1 2 00D0C9 372045 ; 0
1 3 00D0C9 372046 ; 0

The netmap Utility load the Network Manager’s logical-to-physical node ID mapping table . I think the “logical” column is represent physical node (Do physical node respresent network card num?), the “lan” column is represent logical node , i don’t know which i am right , please tell me that what means “logical” column and “lan” column , thanks .

on the side , when i config(use ifconfig command) the second netcard ipaddress , i find that two card macaddress is the same in which “netstat -i” Utility display . At the time , don’t communicate.please tell me reason ,thanks a lot!
