Hi,
I am trying to port QNX 4.25 to a board which is having STPC elite
chipset. But While I am trying to run Dformat to format the DiskOnChip,it
is giving "error 26 on Disk 0 '.Same error also I am getting when I run
Fsys.diskonchip.
The following are the observations:
(1) BIOS detects DOC
(2)we are using DOC 2000
(3) the chipset is STPC elite chipset
(4) QNX 6 is working fine , the problem is only for 4.25
(5)we have also tried with the latest firmware for DOC which We
downloaded from M-sys website.
(6) for other chipsets e.g STPC atlas QNX 4.25 is not giving any
problem.It is only STPC elite for which we are getting error “error 26 on
Disk 0”
Can anybody help me to resolve this problem ?

QNX has no concept nor knowledge of chipset (aside maybe for IDE controller)
These error are reported by msystem software/tools so you should contact
them.

Hi,
We have a very similar issue with a single board computer based on a
STPC Elite when trying to use a DiskOnChip. The board manufacturer and
M-Systems are working together to resolve it, but haven’t found anything
yet. The funny thing was that when I was looking into the issue, I found
that QNX 4.23 worked fine, but 4.25 wouldn’t go.
