size limit for .boot file?

Hi Folks-

I seem to remember that there is a limit to the size of a .boot
file (512k?)… but I can’t find anything in the docs to confirm
this. Is this true, or am I going senile?

It’s about 600k, depends on the BIOS and BIOS extensions
