Hi.
Just wondering if anyone out there has used a USB to serial adapter with QNX
4. I got a few of these adapters coming and going to play with then and
attempt to write a driver that will support the serial connection on the USB
port.
If anyone has done this and is willing to share the driver, then that would
be awesome…

port.Yes, but only under VmWare: The USB serial adapter in MsWindows is
registered as COM1, and you can use it in QNX4 running under VmWare as
/dev/ser1.
If you have a pcmca or built-in modem with no driver for QNX, but you
can register it as a COM port, in VmWare can you access it as a
/dev/ser. Try it.
If anyone has done this and is willing to share the driver, then that would
be awesome…TIA
