Thanx.

And no plans to support it, isn’t it?

I have tried to get manuals from ENE, but they don’t even respond to my
e-mails. If I can get documentation, then yes, we will support the chipset.

Yes, that is supported with the pccard driver, not with Pcmcia.generic.

Thanx. I’ve tried the pccard driver, but with no good result.

The pcmcia detects, but no inserted card is seen. No reaction at all on
card insertion/removing.

If you do believe http://www.elandigitalsystems.com/adapter/data.php
“The Ene-CB14x0 CardBus chips are register and functionally compatible
with TI-PCI1211/1410 and PCI1420 CardBus chipsets”.

And “Source code for the latest version is available on the web at
http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net, as pcmcia-cs-3.1.?.tar.gz” if trust
http://linuxportal.pp.ru/modules.php?name=Sections&op=printpage&artid=282.
It states the code supports some ENE chips.

I understand that this is not official manuals, but maybe…

Well we could always patch the pccard driver to work with the chipset, but
it would be a lot better if we had the hardware here to verify the correct
working of the driver.

Can you please post the output from ‘show_pci -vv’ on this machine?

Hmm, I don’t think it’s easy to get the notebook from Russia )))

Maybe direct internet connection will do?
