Substitute for Dynapro SC3-OEM touchscreen controller

Hi,

I wonder if anyone has had problems finding a substitute for the SC3-OEM
touchscreen controller from Dynapro which has now been obsolete for quite a
while.

I’m having troubles finding anything compatible with the drivers in QNX4.25.

Perhaps someone has made a touchscreen controller themselves? Perhaps a
driver for a newer controller?

Thanks for any help

Regards,
Lars

I have driver for SC4. It was build with use of input ddk from QNX.

Hi Pavol,

3M told me the QNX Dynapro driver I used on the SC3 ought to be compatible
with the SC4 too as the protocols are the same on the two boards. I’m
currently waiting for a SC4 controller to try this out but if I understand
you right 3M are wrong!

Is your SC4 driver openly available?

I’ve been told the SC4 controller is just about going obsolete. Anyone know
of other substitutes?

Thanks,
Lars Skade

I don’t know its legal status… I obtained a copy of Input DDK from QNX (it
was beta version…) to “do it yourself”.
I can post you my changes (to make it work with SC4), but I would suggest
you get your copy of Input DDK from QNX.

Ok, not a problem. When you have Input DDK, I will mail it to you.

Please can I have a copy of your SC4 driver for QNX4. I am testing a
3M Chassis touch display (Dynopro NFI) and I believe it needs a SC4
driver.

Sent via email (for testing purposes).
