Adaptec 29320A-R

Hi,

According to the supported Hardware page, that QNX 6.3 supports Adaptec
29320A-R, which supports RAID level 0, 1, and 10. Has anyone used it? And
how good/bad is it?

Thanks

The hardware page needs to be updated. The card should work in non-RAID
mode.

Oh, it’s sad to hear that. Why is the RAID feature not supported? It already
supports the card and only a milestone to go.

The driver uses a CHIM layer module provided by Adaptec. The RAID interface
isn’t functional.

What will it take to make it so?
RAID is a recurrent request from QNX users.
Using hardware RAID is pointless since you don’t
know about failures until it is too late
