how to know the instance of io-net?

Hi,
How a network driver can know which instance of io-net its been mounted. like whether its io-net or io-net1.

If anybody know the answer, plz reply

could you please explain the instance of io-net!!!
Do you mean by coupling this driver to TCP/IP Stack, assuming that the system is having multiple TCP/IP Stack.
