System resource refresh rate

Any way to increase the refresh rate ( seems to be 5 seconds ) of the System
Resources view in the System Information Perspective.

Why is it that in the Target Navigator the process name listed will go dim
one by one and come back to normal all at once and cycle like that over and
over?

Hello Mario

You can drop it down to a second by clicking on the arrow in the Target
Navigator view and then selecting Refresh from the menu. A second is
currently the lowest number you can set it to.

As for the dim thing, does the target lose the connection at all?

Thanks,
Rodney

Not that I’m aware of. qconn is running at priority 200. When I force a
disconnected the process name turn red and the target names does indicated
that it’s disconnected. That is not what I’m seeing

What I do find strange is that while the IDE is in the System Information
Perspective cpu usage of windows goes to close to 100%. That’s true even if
I close all views. Only way to get 0 cpu usage is to close the System
Information Perspective.

This situation seems to affect the refresh rate because even though I set it
at one seconds it’s still seems like over 5 seconds. In fact the CPU % is
refreshed only after the processes name have dimmed and undimed.

Thanks,
Rodney
