Mario,
Thank you very much for your help - I will look into it.
If you have the patience, I have just a few more questions regarding
CPCI.

Are your aware of any CPCI graphics cards available which are supported
in QNX6?

I never worked with CPCI. I would suspect dual card to be a problemc.

Do I need a special power supply? I am currently using PC Power &
Cooling -
and am very happy with them!

Not really, just heavy duty one.

VME is supposed to have available a user defined bus -

is there something similar available in CPCI?

Don’t know.

Again, thank you,

Your welcome.

I just noticed went on the web to look up ndt.ca and what do you know
you’re
30 minutes from where I live (that’s if there is no traffic…). If you
want addresses of suppliers for parts we used just ask, you can email me
directly.

Thanks,
Ian.

For CPCI it may be possible to get dual head by plugging VGA PMC module (so
you need SBC with PMC site).
Notice, CPCI is also on its way out. Look into ATCA if you want a
future-proof system.

I would suggest going to some of the regular embedded systems conferences,
you will get a good handle on what is available.
