Need some support on installing QNX momentics with Neutrino
I am using winxp on a dual core with a DVD rw drive.
I am trying to host QNX in a VMware virtual environment.
At boot, it says, it has detected EIDE, scanning for devices. After a
while the PC hangs.
the recovery is only to reboot my PC>
I am not able to kill those related process in task manger
The vmware log files says
VIDE: Unknown ATAPI command 0x23, assuming no data.

Do mean that booting QNX inside VMWare will crash you entire machine? If
that is the case, there has to be something wrong with either your XP or
VMWare installation.

Oh, you can access the task manager? That mean the PC didn’t hang, only
VMWare did?

Device manager? Of XP ? That’s TOTALY unrelated. The VMWare logs are
about what the Guest OS did not what VWware asked XP to do. I think this
error log is of no consequences.
