STEINHOFF Automation- & Fieldbus Systems offers support for the
new ETHERNET based fieldbus
PROFINET(100Mb/s).
It will be available for QNX6.3 at the end of January 07.

Provided are RT and [b:5df645fe6e]IRT[/b:5df645fe6e] support based
on[b:5df645fe6e] PCI[/b:5df645fe6e] and
[b:5df645fe6e]PC104plus[/b:5df645fe6e] adapters from SIEMENS.
The implementation is fully compatible with the API defined by
SIEMENS.
The configuration can be done with the SIEMENS NCM configurator.
