Evaluation Install

I apologize for what is at best a cross post and at worst a mis-post but
this newsgroup seems to be more active than qnx-evaluation.

I have recently downloaded the 30 day Momentics evaluation and am looking
for some help. I believe that I should be able to boot and run Neutrino from
a CD. I have the “Momentics Eval - QNX Neutrino x86 Host” burned to CD and
it does boot but it gets no farther than:

No valid commercial license found
Only non-commercial use of this software is permitted.
Contact QNX Software Systems to acquire a development license.

I have a license number (and have used it for a successful install of
Momentics on a Windows 2000 machine ) but see no opportunity to enter a
number to the target machine. Can someone here get me to the next step?

Thanks,

I don’t know if this will help, but I recall this message on all my
evaluation installs. I don’t remember it stopping me from using the
system.

Once the boot reaches that point, it seems to stop with no prompt on the
screen. Nothing I’ve yet done (mostly pressing keys) has moved it beyond the
message.

Well this suggests to me that the “no valid license” message
is just the last thing you see, but not the reason for the freeze.
You might want to try installing on another piece of hardware.
