QNX on a target board

Hi

I have a licensed version of QNX 6.3 and have successfully installed it on a seperate partition in the hard disk. But I want to load the QNX into a target and write programs for the target.

I need help in selecting a target board that is cheap and has a BSP already written for it in QNX 6.3. Also do I need a license (other than what I have) to use QNX on the target board?

I heard PC104 is a popular board but there are tons of variations of this board and not all might have the BSPs.

Any help is deeply appreciated, especially links to any tutorials that tell you step by step on how to load QNX onto that particular target board.

Any help appreciated.

Do you want an x86 target? Try Congatech, they are supporting QNX. For other CPU types, there are other vendors. TQ for example has PowerPC 5200 based boards.

If you want a non-x86 board, you need a Board Support Package from QNX. The binary components can be used for free when you have a licensed PE, the source needs to be bought.

When you sell your target to your customer, a runtime license applies.
