I am trying to play audio files :
but I have this error :
snd_pcm_open failed: No such file or directory
Couldn’t play ‘file.mp3’
My sound card is a sound blaster so I follow the doc and do that :
io-audio -dsb &
but I still have the same error, and I have no files in /dev/snd…
Which soundblaster? Support for most Creative PCI model has been dropped.

but io-audio is not launched at the startup, is it normal ?
This card is not supported. Don’t know about io-audio but I would assume that since no supported sound card is detected there is no need for io-audio.
