Reading the documentation is a good start. The question is too wide, but in a nut shell you should be able to treat the compact flash just like any normal hardisk.
I think some problems might be from a XP(win) platform perspective is how many people
can access there CF as a IDE interface. I think a USB reader is no good. Many of the OEMs
or even dev SBCs do not have the ability to install keyboards or hard drives. But anyhow seem’s
that this VMWare is the way to go.
What dev platform are you on. If your on windows then you might think about a IDE to CF interface for PC. Its a pain
when removing card. I am in the same boat you are. How to get QNX bootable.
