Hi,
I have a notebook PC that I cannot install QNX on because it fails at initialisation of the graphics controller (io-graphics).
crttrap does not detect the SiS controller, which I would expect because QNX does not support this.
But the VGA and VESA bios drivers do not work either.
Can anyone help?
Are there compatible drivers that will work with the SiS controllers?
Ian
The vga driver drops out the lcd display, try plugging in a vga monitor and selecting the vesa driver.
I had a 630 chipset working nicely just the other day. Vesa driver using 1024x768x16 on an LCD display, ide operating in udma mode and rtl8139 driver for ethernet. I didn’t pay much attention to what chips were present on the board because everything worked I only noticed it was a 630 because it didn’t have a separate ps2 mouse port so I had to use usb.
