I accidentially installed the ancient Mozilla 1.5 - what overwrote my more recent FireFox that came with the standard operating system set up.
Now is there a way to restore the FireFox binaries by using the original installation CD?
I don’t think it can be directly restored from CD. There are no archives for individual components. You could install into a VmWare session and manually copy the affected folders…
