character console resolution

Hello all!

How can I change the default character console resolution from 80x25 to any other, more reasonable resolution? I have a lot of space on my monitor, I’d like to use bigger console resolution, if possible.

I haven’t found any relevant option for devc… I hope there’s something similar in QNX like in linux kernel parameter “vga=xxx” which changes the character console video mode.

To my knowledge there is no way do to that.This is supported under QNX4. I remember having an argument with QNX about the lack of support of such feature in QNX6. The answer was that nobody use text mode anymore !
